A-04Scope

What you get, and how it runs

LaunchLane builds you a finished website and hands it over. There is no retainer and nothing renews. This page is the full scope, the full process, and the parts that are not included.

A-04The build

The build

The site itself

  • Home page written around what you actually want people to do: call you
  • A page for each service you offer
  • A page for each city or area you work in
  • About and contact pages that make you look like a real, findable business
  • Photo galleries of your own work — no stock photos of other people's jobs

Built to work on a phone

  • Designed at phone size first, then scaled up — not the other way round
  • Your phone number is tappable on every page
  • Loads fast on a weak signal, because half your visitors are in a truck
  • Readable at arm's length without pinching

So people can find you

  • Google Business Profile set up, or cleaned up if it exists
  • Every page titled and described properly so Google knows what it is
  • Location and service-area data set up so you show up on Maps
  • Submitted to Google and Bing at launch

So people can reach you

  • Contact forms that send straight to your inbox
  • Every form tested end to end before launch, not after
  • A copy of every enquiry, so nothing sits in a dashboard you never log into
A-04Process

How the work runs

  1. 01

You ask for a free preview

Five boxes, thirty seconds, no call. You tell me the business name, what you do, and where to send it.

  2. 02

I build a real homepage and send it

Not a template with your name pasted in — an actual homepage for your actual business, with your services and your area on it. Back to you in 2 business days. Free, and yours to ignore.

  3. 03

If you like it, we start

You send photos, hours, and anything else I need. I write the copy and build the rest of the pages. You do not write anything.

  4. 04

You review it once and I fix what's wrong

One full round of changes is included. Tell me everything at once and I'll work through the list.

  5. 05

It goes live and I hand it over

Domain pointed, forms tested, Google profile connected. Then you get every login and every file. Nothing starts billing.

A-04Rebuilds

If you already have a site

Replacing a site is lower risk than most people expect, and you do not lose what you have built. Here is exactly what happens to each piece.

Your domain
Stays registered in your name and does not change. Your web address is the same the day after launch as the day before. I point it at the new site when the new site is finished and tested — not before.
Your Google ranking
Does not reset. Ranking is attached to your domain, and the domain isn't moving. I keep your existing page addresses where I can and forward the old ones where I can't, so old links keep working. A faster, phone-friendly site tends to help here.
Your existing site
Stays up and online the entire time the new one is being built. There is never a gap where someone searches for you and finds nothing.
The builder you pay monthly
Keep paying it until launch day, then cancel it. I'll tell you exactly when it's safe. If your current site is locked inside a builder, the content still comes across — the pages get rebuilt, not exported.
Your reviews and photos
Reviews live on Google, not on your site, so they are unaffected. Photos come across if they're yours and they're worth keeping.
A-04Excluded

Not included

So you are not surprised by an invoice or by something missing.

  • Paid ads, or ongoing SEO work after launch
  • Domain and hosting fees, which stay in your name
  • Writing that claims things about your business that aren't true
A-04Questions

If you already have a site

Answered here so you don't have to book a call to find out.

Have a siteCan you keep my domain?

Yes, and it stays registered in your name. Your web address does not change. I point it at the new site when the new site is ready. If you'd rather move the domain to a different registrar at the same time, that's fine — it's yours either way.

Have a siteWill I lose my Google ranking?

No. Google ties your ranking to your domain, and the domain isn't changing. I keep your existing page addresses where I can and set up forwards where I can't, so links that used to work keep working. A faster, phone-friendly site usually helps rather than hurts.

Have a siteI'm still paying a website builder every month. What happens to that?

You keep paying it until the new site is live, then you cancel it. Your old site stays up the entire time, so there is never a day where someone searches for you and finds nothing. I'll tell you exactly when it's safe to cancel.

Have a siteCan you move what's already there?

Yes, if it's worth moving. Reviews, photos, service descriptions, and any pages that are actually bringing you customers come across. The rest usually shouldn't. I'll tell you honestly which is which before I start.

See the replacement before you commit to it.

I'll build a real homepage for your business and send it over. Your current site stays up, your domain stays yours, and you decide after you've seen it.

Takes 30 seconds. No call required.

See your homepage before you spend a dollar.
