Terms
These terms cover this website. The terms of an actual project are set out in the written quote you get before any work starts — that document governs the work, not this page.

This website
LaunchLane publishes this site for information. The prices, timelines and scope described here are accurate at the time of writing and are what I intend to honour, but they are not a binding offer on their own. The written quote you receive before work begins is the binding document.
I try hard to keep everything here accurate. If something on this site is wrong, tell me and I will fix it.
The free preview
The free homepage preview is genuinely free and carries no obligation. You do not have to buy anything, and declining costs you nothing.
The preview remains my work until a project is paid for. Once a project is paid for, everything built for you becomes yours outright — see below.
What you own after a project
When the work is paid for and handed over, you own the finished website: the files, the content, the design as built for you, the domain, and the hosting account. All of it is registered in your name.
I may show the finished site as an example of my work, and use its name and screenshots, unless you ask me not to. Ask, and I won't.
What I don't promise
I do not promise a specific ranking on Google, a specific number of phone calls, or a specific increase in business. Nobody honestly can, and anyone who does is guessing. What I promise is the scope in your quote, built properly and delivered on the timeline in that quote.
Links to other sites
Where this site links to a client's website or an outside resource, I am not responsible for what is on the other end of that link.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
